About Myself
I'm Chad Calhoun, a creative developer. With a degree in computer arts and fine art, my interests lie in creating and developing websites as well as photography and other areas of design. This website was originally created as a portfolio project for a web design class in college. I let it sit for a while and finally after strictly working on other people's sites for a few years, I came back to this.

Tools of the Trade
In July of '06, I purchased a new toy, a Sager NP-9750 laptop. So far, this is a sweet machine. It is an AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+ Dual Core, 17" wide-screen WUXGA display, Nvidia GeForce GO 7900 GTX PCI-Express w/ 256MB Video Memory, 2x 100gb 7200rpm Hard Drives, Dual Layer DVDRW, and 1GB DDR400 (soon to be 2GB). I'm currently dual booting XP pro and Ubuntu Dapper Drake. While I still rely on Windows for a few applications, I am growing to love Ubuntu more. It's interface, features, and speed (even with XGL + Compiz) are much better than Windows.
